What you get

One original .xlsx workbook and a README guide in a ZIP file. Sample entries show how it works; replace the amber cells with your own information.

What it helps with

Find the minimum number of units needed to cover an event.

What is inside

One sheet, one row per event. You enter the booth fee, transport, staff and other costs, plus the contribution per piece. The workbook then shows:

  • Fixed cost: booth plus transport plus staff plus other costs.
  • Break-even pieces: fixed cost divided by contribution per piece, rounded up to a whole piece.

Contribution per piece is the selling price minus the variable cost of one item. It is not the selling price. The samples show how it plays out. A weekend fair with ₱3,600 in fixed costs and ₱65 per piece breaks even at 56 pieces. A school bazaar and a corporate expo give different answers. Rows 6 to 8 hold three sample events, and rows 9 to 25 are free for your own. Remove the samples when you start.

Who it is for

Makers and microshops deciding whether a bazaar, fair or expo is worth the booth fee. Compare several events side by side, one per row. Change the contribution per piece to see how a higher price or a cheaper item moves the break-even point. To plan how many pieces to bring, use the event favor quantity planner. To check a price first, use the job cost and quote check.

Before you buy

Digital download only; no physical product is shipped. Open the workbook in Microsoft Excel. Google Sheets import has not yet been verified. Sample rates and amounts are examples, not current market prices or tax advice. You may use and edit your copy for personal or business work; do not resell or redistribute the source workbook. What does break-even mean here?

It is the number of pieces you must sell so that the event covers its fixed costs. Sales beyond that number add profit.

Does it predict how many I will sell?

No. It only gives the minimum. Whether you can reach it is your judgment.
