Details
What you get
One original .xlsx workbook and a README guide in a ZIP file. Sample entries show how it works; replace the amber cells with your own information.
What it helps with
Compare a quoted price with material, machine-time and setup costs.
What is inside
One sheet, one row per custom job. You enter the material quantity and its cost per piece, the machine hours and cost per hour, a setup cost, and the price you quoted. The workbook works out:
- Total cost: material quantity times its cost, plus machine hours times the hourly cost, plus setup.
- Profit: your quote minus the total cost.
The samples are name signs (cost ₱230, quote ₱380, profit ₱150), laser tags and a prototype print. Rows 6 to 8 hold three sample jobs. Rows 9 to 25 are ready for yours. Clear the samples before you rely on the profit totals.
Who it is for
Makers who quote custom jobs and want to check the quote before sending it. Use the same unit for material quantity and material cost in each row. Cost per hour can include electricity, wear and labor, but do not count the same expense twice. Profit is before taxes, marketplace fees and delivery.
For setting a per-piece price instead, see the handmade pricing sheet. For how we price print jobs, read 3D printing cost in the Philippines.
Before you buy
Digital download only; no physical product is shipped. Open the workbook in Microsoft Excel. Google Sheets import has not yet been verified. Sample rates and amounts are examples, not current market prices or tax advice. You may use and edit your copy for personal or business work; do not resell or redistribute the source workbook. Questions or a custom version? Message Stak Maker.
Can I use it for 3D printing, laser and vinyl jobs?
Yes. Any job with material, machine time and setup fits. Define your own cost per hour for each machine.
Does it add my margin for me?
No. It shows profit on the quote you enter. Change the quote until the profit looks right.
