What you get

One .xlsx workbook with a pricing sheet and a short how-to guide. A sample keychain shows how the formulas work. Replace every pale input cell with your own numbers.

What it calculates

  • Materials, packaging, labor, other costs and batch setup per piece.
  • Percentage and fixed selling fees, including a fee shared across items in one order.
  • A suggested price rounded up to your chosen peso step, plus profit and margin at a price you want to test.

What is inside

Two sheets. The first, Price one item, has 14 pale input cells: materials, packaging, hands-on minutes, your hourly pay, other cost, batch setup cost, pieces in the batch, pieces in one order, platform fee, payment fee, fixed fee per order, target margin, rounding step and a price you want to test. The second, How to use, explains each step. Input cells check what you type, such as whole numbers and positive amounts.

The formula, in one line

Suggested price = (production cost + fixed fee per piece) divided by (1 minus platform fee, payment fee and target margin), rounded up to your peso step. Margin here is profit divided by the selling price, which is different from markup on cost.

Worked example

The sample keychain costs ₱103 to produce per piece. With a ₱5 fixed fee, 12% in percentage fees and a 30% target margin, the exact price is ₱186.21. A ₱1 step rounds it up to ₱187. At ₱187 the profit is ₱56.56, or 30.2%. A test price of ₱150 earns ₱24, or 16.0%, and the sheet flags it as below target.

Who it is for

Sellers of handmade items in the Philippines who set prices by guesswork. It prices one product and one order scenario at a time. For a monthly view, try the monthly scorecard. For custom jobs, see the job costing check.

Before you buy

This is an instant digital download. No physical item will be shipped. It works in Microsoft Excel and has no macros or account requirement. Google Sheets compatibility has not been verified. The sample fee rates are illustrations; enter your own current costs and fees. The workbook is for pricing one product and order scenario, not bookkeeping or tax calculation.

You may use it to price products in your own business. Do not resell, share or redistribute the workbook. Need a custom workflow or a physical product? Message Stak Maker.

What if my fees leave no viable price?

The sheet shows a warning and asks you to reduce fees or the target margin. Fees plus margin cannot reach 100% of the price.

Does it include shipping and taxes?

No. Profit is before taxes, refunds, discounts, ads and shipping you pay. Add expected amounts per piece to Other cost.
